Vacation!

Ok so I know we are halfway through August at this point but July was way too fun to sit and type on the computer! The best and biggest thing to happen in July was Phia Kate officially became a walker!!! The week of July 23rd was such a huge week in her little life! Walking! It has been so fun to watch her stumble around like a little drunken t-rex! I'll do a post about this and more with pictures later.
Following the walking debut, we had one of our most anticipated events of the year: VACATION in PICKWICK! Like always, it was the most fun! It seemed to be a milestone year for the kiddos. Zach, very much by accident, learned to slalom and became a pro at it in 2.1 seconds. Roo decided that this was the year she was ready to tube alone, and Phia wore her life vest like a big girl and even enjoyed floating in the river.
And now for the ridiculously ludicrous amount of obligatory pictures!

This was Phia's spot on the big red boat: the co-captian's chair, right beside her Papa.

being the lookout while the big kids tubed. She kept shouting, "BELLA!" like Roo was in trouble for doing something she shouldn't.

Even I did a little skiing.

She is mildly obsessed with her "boos"

Roo doing some amazing tricks on the tube!

Phia and Da. She loves Da.

 Friendship bracelet making day.

Seriously, the kid is a professional. His abilities amaze me.

I am such a lucky mommy.

 Pretty girl.

Roo and her Great Grand Mimi. That is one little girl who LOVES her Mimi.

I think my favorite part of vacation this year was watching Phia get to spend an entire week with her most favorite person on the planet-Papa. We must have heard her say "Papa" a billion times over the course of 5 days. If he left her sight for even a second she would say it over and over until he reappeared, the she would exclaim joyously, "PAPA!" like she hadn't seen him in years. It's the sweetest thing how much she loves him! Nothing else matters when she has her Papa. Except maybe that she have some snack.
