So driving home yesterday, the little Princess asked me if all babies get cut out of their mommies' tummys like she did. I said no, not all of them, and left if at that. A minute later she said, "well how do they get out then?"
Me: their mommies push them out.
Bella: out of where?
Since i do not believe in lying to my kids when they ask me a direct question i answered:
The mommy pushes the baby out of her vagina.
Bella: ewwww! That's disgusting!!!! They slime them out?!
Me: well, yes. Kind of.
Bella: eww. I'm adopting my baby.
Then she proceded todraw the following picture. That is our Lord and Savior "falling out" of His mommy's tu-tu.
Aunt M: and THAT is why you lie to your kids.
