This Christmas Vacation has been SO much fun! For starters, Daddy has been off for two weeks (he does this every year at Christmas), so we have all gotten to spend a lot of time together doing lots of fun things. And, this year both of the kids are big enough to really understand the holiday and get super excited about all of the festivities. And believe me, there have been a LOT of festivities!!
There has been gingerbread house making. . .
Cookie baking. . .
Cookie dough eating. . . .
lots of treating. . .
snuggling. . .
serious concentrating. . .
creating. . .
lots of good messes!
tons of smiles. . .
spending fun times with Daddy. . .
amazing creations. . .
cookie icing. . .
slumber parties with our best friends. . .
Christmas at PapaGigi's
drawing on new easels. . .(can a girl ever really have too many?)
lots and LOTS of story telling!
visits to the REAL Santa. . .
adorableness overloads. . .
moments of wonder when Santa knew our name. . .
disbelief when Santa even knew Beau and Lily's names!
"just in case" decisions. . .
"I'm really too cool for this" smiles. . .
beautiful lights. . .
houses that went crazy. . .
painting our own Nutcrackers (someone has a slight Nutcracker obsession this year). . . . .
Christmas at Nana's. . .
awesome family gifts. . .
never-ending Texas love.
new babies to love. . .
moments together. . .
and playing with cousins.
And that's just the short list!! Hope your holidays were as action packed and wonderful as ours!
